The building completion certificate for our front extension by M&J Building has just been approved without any issues and we wanted to record our sincere thanks for an excellent job from start to finish. James and Michael have both been exemplary in terms of workmanship and work ethic, punctuality and communication, reliability, adaptability and thoughtfulness, attention to detail and build quality to the highest standard. We have thoroughly enjoyed having them and their team here, for their daily support in explaining what was being done to respond to and satisfy our requirements and their friendly manner and humour. Our neighbours have also commented a very tidy work site, working in all weathers and no disruption or disturbance to the street. Ryan and Gavin who worked on site most days also deserve thanks and recognition for these positive comments. The subcontractors engaged were very well managed and their workmanship and work ethic also of the highest standard. The completed building and interior fittings are exactly what we wanted and the extension blends seamlessly with the existing house. Thank you James and Michael and team for making it happen. I used this company for a single storey front extension. They were excellent and I would definitely use them again. This company had good quality contacts with all supporting trades, professional, clear with communication especially where things deviated from the initial plan or when needing to integrate with neighbours. We have used M&J Builds extensively since we moved to Camberley three years ago. They are excellent and we would not hesitate to recommend them. Michael and James and their team have transformed the downstairs of our new property, knocking three rooms into one expansive, flowing space which is both light and airy, including a new fitted kitchen and adjoining utility room. They have demolished an old 1970's double garage and replaced it with a huge new one which is the envy of all our friends! They have built us a brand new elegant "wavy" driveway wall to allow us to widen our narrow and awkward drive, and they have fitted a beautiful new en suite bathroom for us. They have even replastered additional rooms for us and relaid our uneven patio. There appears to be nothing they can't turn their hands to when it comes to home improvements! And they are very nice guys to work with: very pleasant, good-humoured and polite, and tidying up fastidiously at the end of each working day. Just brilliant.

We would like to write a huge thank you to James, Michael and the rest of the M and J Builds team for all of their hard work on our house extension. Despite it being one of the hottest summers and one of the coldest winters on record, the M&J team worked relentlessly to convert our house into a home. Thank you for turning what initially felt like a daunting project (living without a roof on your house is very disconcerting!) into one we actually enjoyed. These guys added an extension to our house. They were approachable, open to ideas, professional and did a great job! Very happy.

Micky and James were fantastic during our build. They took time to talk through ideas and options with us, were proactive and solution driven when anything needed rethinking. They recommended other tradesman for other things we had going on. They were prompt, professional, kept to time and budget. We are very happy with our extension and garage conversion. If we ever have work done again we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend!

James and Micheal have done a couple of jobs for us now and we have been pleased with everything they have done for us,. They have offered advice and guidance where we are unsure of things and their knowledge is extensive. We are in fact using them again to help with some internal building work over the next month!
